TerSans is pleased to have you visit our web site and learn a little about us, our Scotties and our Bouvs.
A play on names - TerSans - is a combination of Terry and Sans Howe who are the proud providers for our Bouvier des Flandres and Scottish Terriers.
Our kennel facility in Montana, for our own dogs and dogs of visiting friends, when we are in Montana is located 7.6 miles off of Interstate 90, at Exit 166, on the top of a foothill (5200 feet) in the southwest mountains of Montana. Our nearest neighbor is about a mile away and we have a 360 degree view of our surroundings, mostly rangeland and DeerLodge National Forest. Our contractor said the dogs have a better view than most people (the kennel was larger than his house).
Sans has been raising and showing Scotties since 1986. I am a bit more of a newcomer showing and raising Bouvs since 1995. Sans is a very accomplished groomer and has gained a lot of expertise in both Scotties and Bouvs. She says she longs for a short haired breed. We have had four American champion Scotties and of our Bouvs, some are American champions, Canadian Champons, and International champions. We continue to show but, as of 2004, not as actively as before in both the US and Canada.
The goal of our breeding program is not to produce additional Bouviers or Scotties, but to produce what will be, in our estimation, a betterment of the breed. We want you to feel confidant with any acquisition from us, in that you are getting, in our opinion, a quality friend and companion, a dog that can stand with the best, a dog who will be qualified by breeding to be your lifelong soul mate. Puppies and adults are infrequently available to qualified persons.
Visitors are always welcome, but call before you come as we are gone, more than we are here. This is a good place to visit and get your Bouv or Scotty fix.
